The

Proposals

Our ambitious plans for the expansion of Solstice Park have the potential to generate over 2,000 new jobs, significantly benefitting the economy of south Wiltshire and the community of Amesbury.

The proposed extension will be strategically divided into two distinct development tranches, separated by green space at the centre.

This green space will not only preserve the scenic views but also enhance surface water drainage within the area, ultimately contributing to an overall increase in biodiversity. Download the pdf here.

The western tranche has been thoughtfully designed to accommodate logistics and distribution companies, enabling them to seamlessly integrate into the existing infrastructure of Solstice Park. This will help meet the growing demand for distribution facilities, which is currently outpacing supply.

The eastern tranche is envisioned as a versatile business hub, providing a range of units to support diverse sectors, including:

  1. Logistics and distribution support services
  2. Research and development
  3. Design and innovation
  4. Business services
  5. Bioscience and environmental technologies
  6. Advanced engineering, manufacturing, and assembly
  7. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and creative industries.

Our extensive studies demonstrate that an extension to Solstice Park would be uniquely suited for the type of development listed above, given its strategic location and excellent accessibility. The proximity to the A303 and the wider road network establishes an extension to Solstice Park as being the most sustainable and well-connected location in south Wiltshire for such an ambitious project.

Consequently, businesses looking to establish a distribution hub will find Solstice Park to be the ideal destination, offering a myriad of opportunities for growth and collaboration.
