Access and

Transport

Solstice Park is fantastically well located for travel, courtesy of its purpose built junction on the A303.

The proposed extension to Solstice Park will be accessible via the existing Equinox Drive, which will be extended. We have outlined a comprehensive plan to enhance the transportation infrastructure surrounding Solstice Park, ensuring easier and more efficient connectivity.

As part of our commitment to bolstering public transportation, we intend to allocate additional funding for the Amesbury Hoppa community bus service, which we established many years ago. To further improve the Hoppa service, we are also proposing the provision of new bus shelters within Solstice Park.

Moreover, we aim to upgrade adjoining by-ways, bridleways and cycleways. This will foster better connections between Solstice Park and the surrounding areas.

The draft Wiltshire Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan highlights the need for improved connections to the Salisbury – Porton – Stonehenge Cycle Route. We endorse this and will take account of this when more detailed design is undertaken.
