Green light for Children's Day Nursery

Detailed planning consent for a Children's Day Nursery has been granted by Salisbury District Council.

The 92-place Nursery will cater for children aged 6 months to 5 years and will provide 30 new jobs to the local community. The scheme is single storey with a good size external play area.

The nursery will be sited off Sunrise Way adjacent to The Crescent offices, so will be easily accessible by pedestrians, cyclists and cars.

Work is expected to commence in the spring and open in September 2009
