THE SOUTH WILTSHIRE BUSINESS EXPO 2009

Come and visit us at our stand (SC2) at the South Wiltshire Business Expo in the City Hall, Salisbury on Tuesday22nd September 2009 (9am - 6pm).

New art on show at Solstice Park

The third public art sculpture at Solstice Park is underway and due to be unveiled by Robert Key, MP, in September 2009.

Following on from previous pieces, The Dragonfly and The Mallow, the sculpture has a water theme and is based on the River Avon's journey from Stonehenge to Salisbury.

'The Avon' sculpture was designed by Downton Artist Charlotte Moreton and created by QinetiQ apprentices in conjunction with Salisbury International Arts Festival and Solstice Park.

At 30 metres long, it is made from 105 vertical steel poles, ranging from 90cm to 2m tall and will be set into a river bed of napped flint inset with blue road studs representing the sparkling water.
