ASDA Supermarket – Public Enquiry

A PUBLIC inquiry into plans for the Asda supermarket at Solstice Park, Amesbury will begin early in the New Year.

A government inspector will conduct the hearing at the Bowman Centre in Archers Gate, Amesbury.

It will start on January 13 at 10am and is expected to last two to three weeks.

Salisbury District Council approved the planning application for the store earlier this year.

The final decision on whether it can go ahead rests with the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government.

Further details of the inquiry are available from the council’s appeals administrator, Jenny Strange, on 01722 434364.
